National Overseas Scholarship

The NOS portal for receiving applications for the second round of Selection Year 2025-26 shall remain open from 00:00 hours on 15th September, 2025 until 23:59 hours on 24th October, 2025 for a period of 40 days. Thereafter, the portal shall be opened again for a period of 4 days from 00:00 hours on 26th October 2025 to 23:59 hours on 29th October 2025 to allow those candidates to make corrections, if any, who have submitted applications. No new registrations will be allowed during this period. As on date, 34 slots are tentatively vacant for second round. The result for the first round of selection year 2025-26 has been published on the portal.

ABOUT SCHOLARSHIP

The National Overseas Scholarship aims to empower low-income students from marginalized communities, including the Scheduled Castes, Denotified Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes, Landless Agricultural Labourers, and Traditional Artisans. The scholarship supports their pursuit of higher education, such as Master's degree or Ph.D. courses, by providing opportunities to study abroad, ultimately contributing to their economic and social upliftment.
